Why do you give away free stuff?
Giveaways are just one of the ways that we like to give back to our awesome customers and the TCG & gaming community as a whole! We know what it’s like to be gamers and we love seeing the reactions and smiles on winners' faces!
Can I enter multiple giveaways?
There isn’t a limit to the number of giveaways you can enter at once! But we do recommend that you only enter the ones you’re truly excited about as if you win you can’t win again for another year.
I’ve won a giveaway before, can I win again?
If you win a giveaway then you won’t be able to win again for another year. This is so that as many people as possible have the chance to win a prize!
Do I have to refollow or subscribe again for a new giveaway?
No! You don’t need to unfollow and then follow us on social media again to get the points for that entry type. As long as you are following us then all you need to do is confirm to get the entries.
How do you select the winner?
The winner is selected entirely at random! If we see that the lucky person has won a prize in the last year, then we re-draw. This means that the more entries you have, the more likely you are to win!
How do I know when a winner has been drawn?
We always draw the winner the day after the competition ends and contact them straight away. As soon as the winner gets back to us, their name will appear as a winner near the top of the giveaways page, with what they have won. We will also post on our social media channels when we receive a photo of the winner.
If I win, how do you let me know?
99% of the time we will send the winner an email letting them know they’ve won and asking them to confirm their address!
If you haven’t provided an email, then we will get in contact via social media. You only have 7 days to respond though, so if you don’t let us know then we will have to re-draw the competition 😭.
Do I have to take a photo when I receive my prize?
We understand that some people don't want to get onto camera, we have a few people like that here!! We won't force you to take a photo. We would love it if you do though as we love showing off our winners, as well as that it makes our day seeing other collectors and players getting the things they love!
Another reason is that some people who aren’t familiar with Total Cards might think our giveaways are too good to be true (we do have some crazy giveaways). Photos of our winners really show that these competitions are genuine, so thank you if you send us a photo!!!
Can I enter with multiple accounts or emails?
We don’t allow the same person to use the same method with different accounts. This includes things like entering twice for Instagram if you have multiple Instagram accounts. If we find any entrant doing this then those entries will be void and not count.
Can I enter on behalf of someone else?
We do allow entries for other people if they are unable to utilise that entry method themselves. We have had many winners in the past that have entered on behalf of someone else. For example. a parent that enters on behalf of their child or someone entering for their partner.
However, we do not allow entrants to utilise someone else’s account to increase their entries if they have already entered with that method. If we discover any entrant doing this then those entries will be void and not count.
Can I enter if I’m an international customer (not in the UK)?
Yes! We don’t limit winners based on their location. As long as we are able to ship the prize to you (through the methods we use to dispatch orders), then you are able to enter. There are some restrictions though with Lorcana specifically, this can only be won in the UK and Ireland.
If I enter a raffle (like the Christmas Raffle), will I get a physical ticket with my order?
Raffles are a special type of giveaway that we run sporadically throughout the year, especially at special times like Christmas or Easter. We never print physical tickets for these competitions and you will instead receive a digital ticket marked on your order invoice, this is linked to your email address so make sure you have spelt it right 😜.
Can I enter a raffle for free?
Our raffles are usually operated via a ticket system, which can usually be claimed by placing an order over a certain amount or purchasing individual tickets to increase entries and your chances of winning.
